DREAMS ACROSS TIME – 99GINGER’S 4 YEAR ANNIVERSARY
2022 sees 99GINGER celebrating its 3rd anniversary. To mark the occasion, the label and collective presents its third compilation: Dreams Across Time.
After the release of MÜGUU in 2021, we celebrate 2022 anniversary with a new musical compilation that materializes a new atmosphere, a Renaissance. Dreams across time is a compilation of 8 tracks blending Latin sounds, rap, experimental electronics, amapiano and two-step. Melancholic and sensual, it evokes the passing of time and its different cycles - gentle, resilient, lonely, peaceful - that music helps to better understand. 11 artists from the international underground scene were invited to embody their subtle emotions among Portuguese producers and musicians Rose Juam and Bandicut, London producers DJ Lycox, Tommy Gold, European 305 and Bawo, rappers Bu$hi and Oscar World Peace, French singer Crystal Murray, and Odessa-born producer LoVibe.
Inviting you to dream, here some words :
dreams are everything. it’s blue, dark, red, sweet and violent, they hit us hard. We wake up not crystal cleared, as we also live at night time. suddenly 6am, dreams still going on. we fantasize situations, are afraid of some, both manifesting from the marriage of the unconscious part blended with the conscious one; and we meet a blurred yet striking reality that belongs to the mind, but still, exists.
