BENJIFLOW, THE THRILL
North-London versatile artist Benjiflow introduces afro-jazz project The Thrill. 9 tracks, 24 minutes for a beautiful story of love, and unrequited love.
It all starts with cinematographic first eponymous track The Thrill, co-produced by jazz musician Niji Adeleye. story begins, it feels like walking on a red carpet.

After minimalist, profound track “Go” - we discover magnanimous and lyrical movie-like “Mine”. Along with a celestial singular voice, Benjiflow takes us into an elegant world of arousing energies or happy melancholia as the story continues (let’s talk about this angelic little bridge at the end.) Something’s related to the divine in this track. Regarding “One of One”, it’s a laidback ballad in a sunny garden. Reminds sensations artist Sunni Colon’s might inspire.
The Thrill finally introduces distinct subtle groove on smooth and bouncy melodies blending West African pop, R&B, Afro-cuban rhythms and latin beats, showing the artist great originality, singularity and vision.
Benjiflow invites Afrobeats pioneer Juls on Amapiano “Ready”, track embodying.a new chapter in his relationship. Night time conversations and confidential words, spiritual groove coz baby if the Rain comes / Shine comes /Moon comes.
“My Bag” brings an energy shift. Rolling bassline, self-confidence and cosmic atmosphere/Coz You see me in my bag / Them gone go say I’m mad / But blessing fall on my hand / Coz I keep the prayers on smash.
