Last NTS mix curated by poet, journalist and 99GINGER member Clarisse Prévost, also named redkoffee. In her mix, she brings some words of poetry while delivering at the end of it an explanation of what she calls “the nice absurd”.

At the occasion, curator Clarisse Prévost also drops the few last copies of her last book VIVRE FRÉNÉSIE — a collection of poems inspired by Japanese concept of haïkus. Available on our site (down below.

“ the nice absurd is a world of blended memories, blended feelings, remembered atmospheres. a complex kaleidoscope constantly felt, recreated. there’s a lot of love, a love rebelling against itself, un bel été, a world of eloquence, emotions are strong and divine, the angel cry and laugh all along the way. listening to rnb cause sentimental relationship – concealed or revealed – always have inspired some pleasure deep inside. whatever happens the strength is devoted to the passion, and the passion to livin, there’s airport atmosphere, uplifted tout est fast, frantic and vivid;  the world is bipolar sometimes things are grey, but rose color is hidden in it, which makes it more bearable we turn sadness into beautiful sadness to go easily go through it, c’est le spleen, sensuel-fusil; sensuality is red,  i see it red, soft red or really pigmented,  darker is just another shade, guess we should embrace it, it’s part of our identity to acknowledged, we’re distinctly shaded; 



 feel like cells are lofi-tinted, it sizzles all my senses, of course I like it; the inner troubled child feels without understanding while the bigger kid we are acts and so we both heal, we both find peacefulness. all our mistakes cause us worry   (I kno) but the journey is funnier than we think when we dramatizes situations, mood gets a little bit dystopian, maybe i listened too much crystal castles watched too much skins as a teenager, read too much sci-fi, here’s the result; life is absurd and I love it, try to find its beauty, so I feel my journey. can you feel the life bouncing inside ?  we taste pleasure and the problems they bring; nod along house music in a world of red temptations; car is waiting outside, a really really nice car just waiting to fly away in some space cowboy thing, cause life is more than what’s tangible,  there’s way more magic in it, you just have to pay attention. paying attention to the sound, the air can also make you dizzy, it’s another cosmic level; something is dry and arid sometimes, seems like humans and robots are alike.. there’s no warmth where am i ? here alone ?

 

so I shift the energy; all along the way,  welcome to the nice absurd game cube game, romanticized reality, it’s a romance.”
