Hey, how are you doin lately, December beginning ?
I'm blessed, I can't complain… DJing, being in the studio creating & and being with friends is mostly what i do these days.

What kind of music did you grow up with and since childhood liked while discovering till today ?
I grew up listening to all types of music. My dad was a DJ and he played all genres, so my ears are very diverse. I’ve recently got very deep in the House & Techno sounds and I love the wormhole I get into while digging.

What’s your definition of groove ?
Something that you feel that makes you move in a way, a rhythm that not only connects with your body but your soul.

You’re hailing from West London. Who’s the legendary artist from there and who is exciting on its current artistic scene ?
Everyone in Elevation Meditation, Finn Foxell, Louis Culture, Lord Apex. There are tooo many artists for me to even to get deep with it.

Lately you released single “Ride or Die” with Roses Gabor. How did you meet and end up making music together ? What are the emotions both of you wanted to translate in it ?
My A&R put us together, however I was a fan from SBTRKT and Gorillaz days so i've always been in the know of her amazing voice. In my head its like me paying respects to that London Funky House sound that was before me. This song was actually supposed to be on Forward EP but we saved it. Roses is an amazing writer and I guess she was just trying to express the importance of a soulmate/Close Friend and what feelings it can bring out of you when you do have one.

What are your goals on a personal scale and towards your career?
I want to inspire other black kids to get into different spaces & do things that haven’t always seemed like they’re for us, we can do whatever we want.

The film ‘Human Traffic’ is a classic! Put it on your list if you haven't watched it.

Last word, what leitmotiv do you like to remind yourself when you're feeling anxious, doubtful, to finally realign ?
One Piece, the anime. I feel like D.Luffy trying to conquer the Sea while trying to build a crazy team of pirates but in the most natural way and we all take on adventures together, go through tough times together and just all grow together as a team/family.
